Thinking about narrowboat painting or a full repaint? Want a paint job to be proud of? At Knowle Hall Wharf we understand that each boat and customer requirement is unique and our experienced team will work with you to develop a paint scheme to suit your individual requirements.
When having a full repaint all windows and fittings are removed and the boat stripped back to steel . The boat is rust treated then 2 coats primer then 2 coats undercoat then a minimum of 3 top coats before adding extra colours and coach line and signwriting . We use Symphony coatings paint system which we have had great results for a good few years . We have a heated dock so we can paint all year round.
Our painting methods combine the latest and traditional methods to provide a quality solution, which will enhance the appearance of your boat and protect it for many years. All of our full repaints are done in a controlled environment where the humidity and temperature is constantly measured to ensure the best results and painting you can be proud of.
